I am an independent journalist and magazine editor living in Minneapolis.I earned my MA in Creative Publishing & Critical Journalism from The New School in 2023, where I studied nonfiction writing and communication design. I was taught by a founding editor of The Point and the talented faculty at Parsons School of Design, among others. Currently, I work as a freelance writer and editor, developing stories about the social sciences and education, and a guest editorial series on contemporary art. Previously, I was associate editor of Midwest Design and assistant editor of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. My visual art practice explores collage and photography, and I have a deep appreciation for type and publication design.
